OK, so it's not really a telephone answering machine. What it will do (if you have a modem) is watch the phone line for "RINGS" and then display the date and time that the phone rang.
You can add phone numbers to the "Auto Dialer" section and by pushing the button next to the number, it will take you to your own "Dialer" stack, dial the number and come back.
You can change the baud rate by pushing the "Baud Rate" button. This will show a "pop-up" menu of baud rate choices.
